Very nice easy listen, its been a while since I listened to the last one but I feel like that one had a bit more chaos which I appreciated.
I mean its Kurt Vile, you know what you are getting. I could listen to him noodle on that guitar all day so this make me happy.
Its a step in the right direction after the really bloated and disappointing last album. The production is generally more interesting and its a bit less self indulgent. That being said it still feels like it doesn't reach the same highs as previous albums by Bleachers and its becoming more and more apparent that Jack really needs to start growing as a songwriter. I think the approach has grown a bit stale 5 albums in.
Really smooth vibe this one she’s been on a heater with these last 3 records
Like all Harry albums its interesting enough to be an easy listen but unremarkable enough to not leave much of a mark. Its always a bit underwhelming since you feel like you are getting teased with potential but I just don't find him to be a very charismatic frontman
It’s very good but almost too much like BCNR for me a little too uncanny
I guess I respect that she took the criticism from the last album and dropped Jack and made this one shorter but the outcome is still underwhelming. I think a few of the songs are well written but they deserve better production still. So many moments where I felt like the content was being underserved by the production. Best song on the album is unironically the one about Travis Kelce’s penis
The instrumentals are crazy good here and there are more than a few highlight tracks. But I feel like from a vocal and melodic perspective Cameron digs into the same bag of melodies a few too many times that it prevents a lot of the songs from really feeling unique. While consistency can be good in an album, I think it’s too repetitive here. I don’t remember that being the case on 3D country.
I think she’s a bit overheated. Nothing crazy or revolutionary here but she’s definitely carved out a distinct and solid skill at writing hooks. Considering the state mainstream pop has been in (not including last year) you could do a lot worse than Sabrina
Its well made but not sure I am feeling this one as much yet. To be fair it has taken me a while to warm up to some of their releases in the past so could need more time with this one. I appreciate them switching it up though, its cool to see them try on a new sound
I got into Royel Otis a few years ago with their EPs, and while it has been very cool to see them blow up since then (thanks in large part to a couple great covers) it has also been a bit conflicting.
I will give them credit here, they certainly have defined more of a sound for themselves on this project as opposed to their debut. Its a more confident record in that way.
But, for my own personal selfish reasons, I can say this is the sound I wanted them to fully commit too.

So much fun, great range of inspo here too from 90’s beats to early 2000’s even some peas type moments as well
Some sounds are pretty familiar but quality wise this is a great debut!
No hate, definitely a good album, Quad's music has just never fully clicked with me. Can appreciate the craft here but I think for me it was just a tad too long. It drags a bit in the middle but starts and ends strong. I feel like the 92 rating may have set my expectations too high going into it.
Jon Bellion is one of those artist I unfortunately feel like I have grown out of. I would have died for this man back in high school but now he is doing nothing for me. I guess I respect the attempt at some originality here but I can’t say I liked anything other than wash
A bit too overstimulating for me as a whole project but the highs are very high
