Finally, the greatest story to ever be written is being released. I prayed for times like this.

It’s good, but it doesn’t do anything special. Mitski tries to incorporate a lot of genres and she succeeds in creating a pretty good sounding album but falls flat in evoking any emotion.

RIP to two Salsa masterminds. I’ve been listening to this album for a couple months now and never logged it and since Willie Colón’s passing today it felt appropriate to finally give this album another listen and truly take in the orchestral masterpiece that is Vigilante. An album that paints a thrilling story and a very compelling one of living in constant fear of crime and suffering.
