Overall a good album ! It's not anything new, experimental or very elaborate but I still like it very much. The songs are absolute bops. LCA, Taboo Good As Gone, Kiss Bang Bang, Hello are great. Dance to the Music and Someone really stood out to me. Kudos to Edge of Saturday night which is the best song Kylie has given us since Sleeping with the Enemy ! I wish I had never heard My Oh My though...
This album is really amazing. It concludes her musical golden age (1994-2007). The songs are great, the production is amazing. 2 Hearts, Speakerphone, Sensitized, No More Rain, Stars, there are so many amazing tracks. The One, Like A Drug and In My Arms are amongst my favorite songs of hers, and my favorite songs of all time. She nailed the production, it's a very cohesive album, there are no skips (except Cosmic and maybe Nu-Di-Ty). I love it !
First of all, I'm obsessed with the cover it's just pure serve. The album is good, though I'm kind of upset she stopped doing more experimental/R&B sounds like she has done on Body Language or X. The music is good, many bops, though a lot of them are kind of forgettable. Aphrodite is THAT SONG, All the lovers is a timeless hommage to her fans and Closer is just on of the best songs she has ever released. Love the production on the verses of Too Much.
Though the production is sometimes a bit choppy I think it's an underrated album of hers ! Some of the songs are pretty mid in my opinion (if only especially), the autotune on Beautiful (even though I still like it), but the other half of the album is amazing. Sleeping with the enemy is truly of the the best songs she has ever released ever. Feels so good, title track and I was gonna cancel are just good, fun. Overall, not a very unique album, she goes on just like on Aphrodite with kinda ... read more
A very good debut album, the songs are very cute, though not very elaborate. Some all-time classics like the Loco-motion. Not an album that I listen to very often but when I do it's always a good time and it makes me in a good mood !
