Knocked Loose - Laugh Tracks

I remember when this album came out and I first listened too it. I didn't really like Bryan's vocals whatsoever. I decided to give it another listen seeing as I've been on a bit of a Knocked Loose binge lately, and man it's so much better than I remember it.

Now it obviously doesn't compare to their later releases, You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To is a near perfect album, but Laugh Tracks really was a great debut and it makes me appreciate how far ... read more

Nas - Magic

As a big fan of both KD1 and KD2, I had high expectations for Magic, which to no surprise were met. Hit-Boy absolutely killed the production with a completely different style of beats to what we've previously heard from him on the KD series, it was really refreshing.

It's super impressive that Nas is this deep into his career dropping dope album after dope album.

Fit For An Autopsy - Oh What the Future Holds

Okay first of all, the intro/title track is fucking crazy. Joe's vocals are on point throughout the entire album, very impressed with his cleans - he absolutely killed The Man I Was Not. Will Putney is the heisenberg of deathcore production, the dudes a genius. Something about the ambience on some of these tracks just made them feel even more devestatingly heavy. This album is certainly the golden standard when it comes to production. The riff on two towers is mental - i almost feel bad for ... read more

Bury Tomorrow - The Seventh Sun

I wasn't sure what to think about Bury Tomorrow's new clean vocalist, at first I was a bit unsure, but after listening through the album a couple of times I'm really enjoying the new sound. The subtle keyboard elements really help elevate there sound. Both these minor changes to their sound really complement Dan's aggressive uncleans. Overall I really like the direction they've gone with this album. I can't decide whether or not I prefer it over Cannibal though - I guess I'm going to have to go ... read more

Mental Cruelty - Zwielicht

Listening to this album is an entire experience. I don't know how the vocalist manages to have such an incredible range. Symphony of a Dying Star is an absolute masterpiece.
