Burial - Untrue
66

I can see the appeal of it, but it just isn’t for me. The music just stagnates and doesn’t go anywhere or do anything interesting outside of Ghost Hardware and the title track. I feel like this could grow on me though.

KAROL G - MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO
73

Nothing groundbreaking but an all-around solid reggaeton record

Quadeca - SCRAPYARD
72

A lot of middling tracks, but the few that stood out really carried the project. It very much stuck to a specific sound that didn’t really captivate me. It was still good though

ZEP - NO ENEMIES
47

I really don’t care for this one. There are some cool production choices but otherwise I don’t like the sound of this one

Bring Me The Horizon - Count Your Blessings
77

This is the first deathcore project I’ve listened to, so I don’t have the past experience with the genre that others do, but overall I feel like this is a solid project. The mix is shit but everything else is pretty good.

B.o.B - Flatline
36

The message is awful, that aside it’s pretty bad

84

You guys are so silly, this easily beats we had good times together

clwdy - DECAY
82

Some of the best EDM I've heard. Euphoria is absolutely insane.

Unwound - Leaves Turn Inside You
74

I'm afraid I don't get this one. Solid enough record but I don't get the hype here.

Silence Is A Virus - Silence is a Virus
68

It's a Deftones clone, but it's a fairly decent one.

Dance Gavin Dance - Instant Gratification
76

At least I thought this was good

BTS - ARIRANG
58

This really isn't that bad. There are some good songs on here, albeit definitely weighed down by the duds in the tracklist.

Lantlôs - Nowhere In Between Forever
75

Blackgaze legends Lantlôs soften their sound with very sugary instrumentation. There are a few duds here but overall this is solid.

Favs: Oxygen, Daisies, Planets
Least Favs: Solar Death, AutoGuard

White Ward - Love Exchange Failure
87

The best blackgaze album I've heard outside of the Deafheaven discography

UNKLE - Psyence Fiction
80

Certainly not the most consistent record, but the songs that are good are very good and the bad songs are still pretty good.

Afterlife Slave - THE WARPING
78

A pretty solid DnB project front to back

Panopticon - Kentucky
66

I never thought I would say this, but the bluegrass passages are the best part of this album. The black metal parts are really quite weak, but the rootsy vibe and creativity of the album saves it.

Slayyyter - WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA
84

This is exactly what pop music should be in 2026

Nu:Logic - Somewhere Between The Light
77

A collection of some of the best modern DnB around. This is brought down substantially by the length, as there isn't nearly enough diversity to justify such a long runtime. This would've been much better if they split the project into two EPs. Very solid project though.

"Yeah, the incomprehensible vocals are part of what makes black metal black metal. I would check out their album Infinite Granite for more comprehensible lyrics"
