It didn’t hit me at first, but I think this is one of their better albums. Not much else to say here
It’s not the break from Deftones’ previous work that I expected, but rather a fulfillment of it. It’s like Swerve City but better
This album supersedes music itself. I hope that aliens hear this album when they find our ruins in a few million years.
One of the most underrated albums on this website. I think that the songwriting on here is some of their best, and Violet is definitively their best song (and my favorite song of all time).
Just listen with good headphones. The mix is very busy
Fantastic album. A great follow-up to Sunbather and a great development of Deafheaven's sound.
Objectively? It's as good as every other Deafheaven album. Subjectively? There isn't really anything of note here. It's Deafheaven's most 'nothing' album, and I find myself coming back to it less than any of their other albums.
Certainly a good album, but it just doesn't punch with the same weight that Deafheaven's other music does.
An honest masterpiece. One of the most thoughtful and whole album experiences of my life. A life-changing listen, cannot recommend enough.
This album is inconsistent and all over the place yet filled with much of the band’s best later-career music.
