Surprisingly aggressive album. I'm not sure what I expected as far as sound goes but the beginning of the 2nd song definitely caught me off guard. I absolutely loved the instrumentation on this album, but I'm a bit on the fence about the vocals. One one hand, they fit the more aggressive songs very well, but at other times I have a difficult time getting into the song because of them. WLFTMOI has higher highs (and lows) than this but I really liked how calm this one was for the most part.

Really cool stuff. Godspeed have impacted me less and less over time but this one is still really good and it's nice that they're shining light on the situation in Palestine.

Said by Michael to be their best performance during the Swans Are Dead Tour. I haven't heard it yet (except for part of Blood Promise) but if it's any better than what shows up on Swans Are Dead then it must be amazing.
