surprisingly my fav of 2026 so far. i love the world roy's created with this album, and i love the concept. i wasn't expecting to like this since i was just a casual listener of his music and i definitely wasn't his biggest fan, but this made me rethink that. great album!
nowhere near as good as portals, but definitely better than cry baby and k-12. it just doesn't really do anything special. i've noticed i'm just not a fan of cj barans production, everything he's been on recently (princess of power, aftercare/jesus loves a primadonna, and hades) has really weak and squeaky clean production. it's like he's trying to be as inoffensive as possible with the production. i will highlight, though, the vocals on this album far surpass ... read more
i know this is a hot take, but this is the best album that can ever be made in my eyes. the only weak songs are the two singles, but other than that just straight 10 after 10. plus, the interludes are the best i've ever seen in an album, and the intro "SLEEPWALK" sets up the album so perfectly.
