Listening to it is not enough, I need to inject this album in my veins.
I listened to Vanisher, Horizon Scraper when it was released on july, but I wanted to re-listen to it before I said anything here and I didn't really had the time until now. But, OMG, this might be one of the best albums from 2025. I didn't know Quadeca since my brother told me about him and recommended me listening to this album. He told me I was going to love it and he was right. This album is really deep and beautiful. It has songs with beautiful lyrics and melodies that create a ... read more
uuughhhh I don't know... Compared to Unity, which came out last year, this album leaves a lot to be desired. Too many songs seem to have been written sooo quickly just to give us an album on the first day of 2026. I enjoyed the first two songs and then I got bored; there are too many skips here. I would have preferred to wait another year and have an album with better quality. I felt weird when I saw the album announcement because Unity isn't even a year old yet, but I decided to ... read more
After watching his performance in Eurovision, I decided to listen to the whole Lucio Corsi's discography. Volevo essere un duro has many great songs, others that are not that good (Let there be Rocko is not my favourite), but I really love Lucio's style. Listening to his music has reminded me of 70s glam rock; I thought of David Bowie, for example and I am so glad that Lucio had brought back that beautiful sound. Volevo essere un duro and Tu sei il mattino are my favourites.
The only song I really loved was CORALINE, which I think is beautiful. The rest of the album has been a bit... meh (sorry, I don't know how to explain hahah). Some songs better than others, but nothing remarkable. I prefer this to what Damiano is into now, tho.
Suzanne's voice is magical, and the album opening with "Tom's dinner" is literally perfect. I'm sure that I'll be listening to Solitude Standing on loop this fall.
I'm still shocked after listening to this album, but I don't know, In the Aeroplane over the sea has something, something that caught me and I'm not sure about what it is, but I like it. I'll listen to it again, probably and I will add it to my favourites.
I heard a lot about Yungblud and he also seemed to me a nice guy, so I started to be curious about his music. I don't know, I have to admit that I expected much more about this album. Maybe there are some good songs, but anything recallable nor any song that I would like to listen again. I like the lyrics, but the sound is not so good. My favourites are Psychotic kids and Anarchist, anyway.
I don't really know how The Cure keeps crashing it with every album they drop. But “Songs of a lost world”, especially seems to me a masterpiece. Robert Smith has put loads of feelings, stories and art in every word, every chord and every note of this album. I totally love it.
I bumped into “Par 5” and I thought that it was beautiful, so I decided to listen to the whole album and I really loved it. Pam has such a beautiful voice. Also the album's cover has turned into my favourite now.
Un àlbum molt bonic, amb música tranquil·la. Perfecte per a relaxar-te i reflexionar un poquet. El petit de cal Eril aconsegueix transportar-te per vint-i-cinc minuts.
I think that I could be listening to this album for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. Definitely my favourite album by The Cure.
I had to listen to this album twice just to realize that it is not as bad as I thought it was at first. Perhaps "Three imaginary boys" is not the best album of The Cure and it is noticeable that they hadn't already consolidate their style but, in my opinion, this is a good beginning.
A friend told me about Matt Berry, so I listened to a couple songs; then he dropped this album and I really fell in love with his style. I feel that he deserves more acknowledgement!
The first time I listened to this album I was like "well, I don't think it's that good", but the second time I enjoyed it much more. It's a great album to listen when you want to feel relaxed, perfect for a reset sunday. Matt has a soft and amazing voice and his lyrics are beautiful.
