This is the quintessential quebec alt rock album of the 00's. Avbsurd lyrics and sometimes improper vocal techniques do not get in the way of a coherent and grounded track, it even adds to the whimsiness and charm of Simon Proulx's band.
If you're looking for simple guitar tones producing badass catchy riffs, this is the one. Some of the songs would totally fit in a sports videogame soundtrack.

Discovered the band with this album when I was about 14. Loved them ever since.
I remember having a bit crush on frontman George Pettit at the time. In retrospect, Dallas is both cuter AND more talented, but I've always had a thing for bigger and more scrawny guys.
Anyway, like I said, good LP! The perfect balance between the unhingedness of their debut, the gritty of Crisis, and the fast-paced clean riffs of OCYC

This is a good record. I love the duo's soothing yet expressive voices. Their harmonies... good.
