There are multiple vocal styles used in this project, with pretty consistent results
This is definitely a powerful album, with it focusing on Bowie death which would actually occur shortly after the release of this album. It sounds very similar to a lot of black country, new road projects. There is also just an incredible jazz influence all throughout
Will a nice balance of softer and harder moments, every song was very enjoyable, but no song felt incredibly defining
The album started a little slow, but quickly evolved into one of the most impressive albums.
This is somewhat ok, still decently annoying but I’m able to fight off the urge to turn it off
It’s a very fun album with a lot of stand out tracks, the instrumentals are consistent but are never mind boggling. This project is in my opinion overshadowed but “This is happening”, however this is still worth a listen.
One of the strongest 8s I’ve given but I feel that some songs disrupt the flow a little
Definitely an improvement over hot soup, Danny has definitely started to separate himself from his peers but there is still a consistency issue
Danny goes pretty hard throughout the entire project, but he doesn’t have his own pronounced style yet
Some truly beautiful moments on this project, while it doesn’t compare to the impeccable “what color is love” it’s still an incredible project with his best song
The sound doesnt feel as fleshed out as in FMTS, but its still some of the highest quality metal out there
"My Song" is undoubtedly a classic. I feel like it is notably better than most of the other songs on this project. With that being said, there are still plenty of great moments on this album, making it definitely worth a listen.
Terry really should be more notable in the music history books; his incredible voice and elite songwriting meet with these heavenly instruments to create an iconic and unique sound.
This album is really fun, it’s just incredibly interesting grooves with some crazy time signatures. The album also doesn’t over stay its welcome, however I would go as far as to argue that it’s too short, I’m left wanting another 30 min of music
It's an all-around fine album with some incredible standout moments, but overall doesn't compare to Abbey Road or Revolver
