Drake - ICEMAN
NR

Man I can’t stand Drake sometimes because how do you go from that intro talking about how your dad’s got cancer, then immediately to some ”girls from Atlanta, call me santa” 😭😭

Shabang is a banger though

Brandy - Full Moon

Runs a little long but the whole run from Full Moon to It’s Not Worth It was actually insane on first listen. Will probably get even better on more listens

Slayyyter - WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA
100

Fucking fantastic, YES GODDD made me want to shoot up ketamine in my peehole

Has the same inconsistency issues for me as the original album, the highs are really high and the lows are just meh.

Best: Drive, Saturn, Crybaby, Kitchen, Chill Baby
Least Favorites: No More Hiding, Diamond Boy, BMF

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT

she kinda nibbled with Florida ngl

Beyoncé - COWBOY CARTER

A cover of Blackbird and the banger that is Spaghettii on the same album is insane

Future - WE DON'T TRUST YOU

”I got your back like a spine”

I think i just became a coke whore

Travis Scott - UTOPIA

Lil Uzi Vert - Pink Tape

I had very conflicting emotions during my listening experience of this album. Uzi shines the most for me when they focus on making good hooks, so when "Flooded The Face" started I was immediately very hyped, and it has quickly become one of my favorite songs of theirs.
I haven't been a big fan of the recent trend in rage beats so through tracks 4-10 the album becomes pretty stale for me. I think it picks up after that though with "Endless Fashion" which features one of my ... read more

Definitely an overhated EP and better than people give it credit for. Ice Spice is not the best rapper or lyricist but she’s great at just creating fun songs, more or less

Jessie Ware - That! Feels Good!

Living my prosecco mom fantasy with this one

Was a little worried going into this album based on the two singles, because although I like Float, Lipstick Lover didn’t catch me that much (I must say that it’s much better in the context of the album). This was definitely better than expected and I actually like that most of the tracks are really short because they flow really well into each other and create a great listening experience. At 32 minutes it’s a really easy listen front to back and I think I’m going to ... read more

Gorillaz - Cracker Island
70

Solid album from Gorillaz and besides Song Machine Season 1 probably my favorite since their comeback. It does not reach same heights as their first albums but it definitely has some songs that is near that same quality, especially Skinny Ape which is my favorite on the album.

Favorites: Cracker Island, Silent Running, Baby Queen, Tarantula & Skinny Ape

Least favorites: Oil, Tormenta & Possession Island

Chlöe - In Pieces
40

One of the most disappointing releases in a while for me honestly. Chloe x Halle’s ”Ungodly Hour” is one of my favorite R&B albums in recent time and Chlöe’s string of singles before this album showed a lot of promise, but everything about this album and rollout feels messy. I liked Pray It Away as a single and didn’t mind the song with Chris Brown, but a lot of these songs feels like filler even though the album’s less than 40 minutes. Nothing is ... read more

Fall Out Boy - So Much (For) Stardust
70

Solid comeback from one of my favorite bands growing up. Nothing groundbreaking by any means but it's very enjoyable nonetheless. I'm just happy they are going in the right direction again after Mania, because that was not it.

Favorite tracks: Hold Me Like a Grudge, I Am My Own Muse, The Kintsugi Kid (Ten Years) & So Much (For) Stardust
Worst tracks: Heartbreak Feels So Good & What a Time To Be Alive
