As if Knocked Loose and Denzel couldn't get any better. Holy shit, this single is amazing, I've been big fans of these two for a while now. This is very different for Knocked Loose and of course, they nailed the fuck out of this one. Denzel has always been on rougher tracks and has done his own sort of metal tracks before, but something about Knocked Loose and their more fast paced music enhances Denzel more. This song is amazing, one of the best I've heard from either of these ... read more
Life Starts Now by Three Days Grace is definitely their more generic sounding album, but overall I still found the experience enjoyable. The last stretch of the album kind of blurs a little for me because of how much everything sounded samey, but the first half I think is where this album shines the most. As always, the vocals, instrumentals, and lyrics are still high up there. One-X by Three Days Grace is an almost perfect rock album to me. I absolutely love the instrumentals and the vocal performance by Adam. This album really is a good overall representation of mental health and the struggles that people face with said mental health. It can definitely be edgy and over the top sometimes, but I believe it gives it a charm and doesn't work against the album. Minus one song, there wasn't any song that I really disliked. Great album overall.
The self titled album by Three Days Grace is an overall good introduction to the band. It settles you in on what you expect from the band. Heavy instrumentals with equally heavy vocal performances about emotional topics with intruiging lyrics. I overall found this album to be very enjoyable. While I would have left a couple of songs off maybe, I still found this album to be enjoyable and anyone who is a rock or metal fan should listen to this album.
Dark Before Dawn by Breaking Benjamin is their most middle of the road album. It is a very good sounding album with lots of great vocals, instrumentals, and lyrics. However, it isn't the most impressive they have done. I found this album a little samey at moments, but since it still sounded good. It never really took much away from me. Overall, I wish there was more uniqueness to it, but I still found it to be enjoyable.
