Bishop Briggs gave us only two new tracks on this self-titled debut EP, but "Dark Side" and "The Fire" are really good fulfillment for four previously released tracks.

Montonous and really flat-sounding debut album. I've been awaiting something more colorful and characteristic. If two, most distinctive records are the singles from previous year (Liquorice and So), we have a big problem. Sorry, not we, Alice Jemima has a big problem.
"Feel It Break" with "Pulse", "Darken Her Horse" or "Beat An The Pulse" was really fresh air into dark electro and always will be one of my all-time favourites. After mediocre "Olympia" and awful "Habitat" EP I was looking forward to hear something new, more like debut album. If this record had come out in first half of 2016, we would have treated it like something special. But now, after Blood Orange's Freetown Sound and Solange's A Seat to the Table it's only half way from mediocre to good.
