An evolution of Vince staples’ more conscious era. Not only is it his most politically charged album lyrically but it’s also reflected in the punk aesthetic of this album. Some of the guitar work and grooves on this album are fantastic. Some of his other albums may be more replayable but overall this is probably his best work
Starts a bit rough but really picks up in the second half for a special run of songs. Final track is the best gorillaz song I’ve heard in a long while. Great to hear gorillaz getting weird and conceptual again
Ok on repeat listen this lives up to the hype. Not quite perfect but definitely an instant classic
Easily one of, if not the best pop album of all time. Incredible passionate vocal performances with some of the grandest and multi-faceted 80s pop production ever, and killer, catchy songs that just engrain themselves into your ears.
