My second pink floyd albums so far and i'm not disappointed, but I have some issues.
Pigs on Wing 1 and 2 to me are just alright, they add to the albums story but for me I don't think I will be relistening to them.
The big 3 songs however, are all very good, the instrumentals are beautiful, especially in sheep. My issue with this album and these songs is that I find them to be a bit too long, I don't see myself listening to these much, but I appreciate them as songs.

I don't know much to say other than an amazing album. Every song is so well produced and catchy, not much bad to say about it. I really love how some of these songs are a bit lower energy than his other albums, the whole thing has a really nice vibe to it. I usually don't like skits but the skits here are really funny and memorable and only add to the experience of listening.
I had ratings for the individual songs but i'm an idiot and clicked off before saving them.
There is definitely a story here that I just don't understand, and without it the album to me feels just alright. I expected to like it a lot more, as I really enjoyed the other stuff i've heard from J Cole. To me, alot of the songs just didn't click with me, I found some quite stale, not bad, just alright.
I'm definitely going to relisten to this because I know there is something here, but on a first listen it was just alright.

Going into this album I had very high expectations, this is one of the most critically acclaimed albums of all time and beloved by multiple of my friends.
First of all I absolutely loved the albums structure, and how every song connected into one another, it made the album feel whole rather than a bunch of songs thrown together with a name attached, the instrumentals on this album for the most part are beautiful too. Eclipse and Time are definitely my favorites here, and I loved the ... read more
This album is extremely special to me emotionally. In terms of storytelling, this is my favorite album. However, its also important to look at it through the individual songs themselves.
To me, this would be a perfect album if it weren't for some songs not being amazing. I strongly believe that there is not a single bad song on here, but some are quite flawed, mainly Mr Morale and Worldwide steppers. Worldwide steppers has really good lyrics but on a listening basis isn't amazing, ... read more
This is my first ASAP ROCKY album so I had absolutely zero expectations or care going into it. It was pretty enjoyable, and the variety of the songs made it a fun experience. There's no song for me that really stands out however, I do really like PUNK ROCKY but its nothing AMAZING for me, meaning I don't want to give it too high. Pretty good album overall though
This is the first J. Cole album I have listened to, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. For how little listens it was a really enjoyable album. I do think that the first half is better than the second though. The baby voice in Dollar and a Dream II is horrible and the only bad thing about this album for me.
Mac DeMarco was basically my introduction into music, he was the first artist I listened to and this album was my first album that I actually listened to from start to finish and for that it has a very special place in my heart. This album is short and concise but pretty much song is very enjoyable and easy to listen to. Chamber of reflection especially I would consider to be one of my favorite songs of all time. I love the instrumentals throughout this album with the guitar and strange sounds. ... read more
I am a huge fan of Tyler the Creator and some of my favorite songs / albums come from him. However, while this album is overall very high quality in terms of the production, I find the album overall to not be as strong as the rest of Tyler's discography. There are just too many skips for me on this album, mainly I killed you, Judge Judy, balloon, and especially sticky which I skip whenever I listen to it. I really enjoy the vulnerability and I really like St chroma, like him, tomorrow, and ... read more
