Violet Grohl - Be Sweet To Me
74

A súper solid debut from Violet Grohl. I will say that towards the midpoint of the album the record hits a low point for me, but the way the album opens and ends is great.

Kim Petras - Pretour
NR

Kim Petras finally working with good producers. I sides to pray for times like this

Gracie Abrams - Hit the Wall
90

I think this is 100% a step in the right direction for Gracie. She’s coming across vulnerable and the production is much more spacey. Giving the sense that the song is much more developed compared to her music prior. I’m really looking forward the direction she goes into the rest of the record with, if this is the first taste.
Also, I love the vulnerability in the lyrics, at least compared to what o heard, this is probably on of her most emotional songs

Dorian Electra - Dorian Electra
86

Hips don’t lie GAGGED
Yall underrating this project sm

This is creative genius idc

Lady Gaga - RUNWAY
NR

not how’d I’d expect this crossover would sound like. Would’ve loved to hear how their respective styles collide, not this

Angine de Poitrine - Vol.II
NR

They truly have a way with song

Slayyyter - WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA
90

This album went in angles I did not expect. And I was worried with this album because all of the singles appear at the front of the record and was worried how the rest would sound. The sequence of the songs is a bit messy, but the beats hit most of the time and Slayyyters vocals sound amazing. My biggest complaint has to with how loins the low end on this record is, and it is too a fault at points where clarity is lost in the record, ultimately making the song leave less of an impression on me.

Dorian Electra - Fake Denim
90

Had to rate this because this is way to low of a rating

BLACKPINK - JUMP
NR

This is such a banger

Converge - Love Is Not Enough
94

This is Converge flexing their muscles. Thirty years as a band, 25 years since Jane Doe, they don’t set out to do anything new on this record, but rather remind the current generation of who they are and the footprint they have on metalcore

Knocked Loose - Hive Mind
60

Intro sounded sick, then transitions to a trap beat for no reason, then transitions back to a weaker version of what we heard on their last record, with a subpar Denzel Curry feature (could they really not get him in the studio to do a verse, the quality of his verse sucks)

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
65

Dick in the booty type 😭😭😩😩
First Disc - 82
The first disc is much better than the second. The production is much stronger and is just more attention grabbing. I really don’t want to hear mope and live in his past.

Porcelain Stars - Rosemary
NR

This album is so ornate and pretty and whimsical I love it

Youth Novel - I Went Through This Experience Smiling
88

Shout out Youth Novel for writing the first great album of the year

Lenny Kravitz - Let Love Rule
72

Some pretty cool song ideas here. This album serves as a solid debut, as it is quite raw and a bit bloated tracklist. First half is much stronger than second half.

Jack Off Jill - Clear Hearts Grey Flowers
90

The production on this record is truly spectacular, but the songwriting is not as consistently great as the debut

Water From Your Eyes - It's A Beautiful Place
75

Cute album, but more or less came and went

Mei Semones - Animaru
98

Definitely a snub from my aoty list
