Truly achievement to get this kind of sound in 1967. A well rounded, well-produced, well-engineered record
Admittedly was quite mystified by Geese’s popularity. They’re sound is certainly not mainstream yet I hear so many people talk about how great they are. Which I definitely judged this band based on the people who I knew who liked it and tuned it out. If there is one thing consistent about the band, it is the lyrically messaging. Messages of anti-war, anti-establishment, anti-capitalism have rung clear since their inception. Especially, with the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the band has taken the opportunity with this album to double down on those messages to create something truly surreal with their new album, “Pain to Power”.
