Despite its grandiosity, the record never manages to feel too overblown. The mix is absolutely stunning, each instrument occupies its own pocket incredibly well, avoiding the crowding that often comes with such music. Wilkinson displays beautifully poignant and intense vocal performances, accompanied by the most stunning instrumentation I have heard as of late. Terrific in every sense of the word, and a great listen.
