No, It's not a bad album by any means. But, I feel like I've heard this album before. No new concepts arise from it or anything that's refined, but it's still a really solid release from Ravyn Lenae. I just hope in the future Ravyn will evolve her sound.
I never expected this album to be this gorgeous. I haven't heard of Mavi before, but god, he is AMAZING. This album has gorgeous production and Mavi utilizes introspective lyrics alongside an amazing flow. His vocals directly match with the album, allowing for an amazing listening experience.
Like Circles, this album brings you to the vision of staring out into the sea, just thinking. Love this album.
EDIT: 93 -> 98
Several re-listens in. Gorgeous album, His flow, lyrics, and ... read more
Honestly, I didn't expect Beabadoobee to make a successful evolution in sound, but it sounded amazing. I love how this album sounds as of now and isn't always angst, she utilizes an interesting voice to bring you into whatever mood you please. The instrumentals on this Album are amazing, and Bea works well with her specialty with the guitar.
Love to see this direction Bea is taking. 87/100 Album. Some work could be used on the mixing, which I feel may be a little rough. Maybe it is ... read more
He is NOT washed!!! I loved the flow on the song and some of the witty bars. Love this song and brings me hope for AWGEst 30th!!!
I guess it's a bit better? I don't know, I'm not really in tune with Taylor that much. Apologies. Some good writing and the production from Aaron Dessner saves it.
This album is full of amazing production, which makes me elevate myself into the world the album is shaped around. This album has gorgeous sounds with Peggy’s vocals on a peak with this project. The features work well on this album and the last two tracks are my favorite Peggy songs to date. In the future, I’d like to see albums shaped around that. 90/100.
This album is meant to serve as a music soundtrack for Donald Glovers’ movie with the same name. The album has several genres packed into one, and there are a bunch of ups and downs. Once the movie comes out, The score will change, because the film will help the understanding of the album. Still, the ups on this album are amazing. Would love to see songs like “Lithonia”, “Cruisin’”, and “A Place Where Love Goes” on future albums from Donald ... read more
Another banger from Denzel Curry and brings back some older sounds. The energy Denzel brings and the attitude of the production brings this album to a new level. The features work well here, elevating the album. This honestly, sounds like a more refined ZUU. Good album.
An unexpected duo between the two but they somehow work? Another different sound for Yachty, while I don't like it that much, Blake makes it up by contrasting his voice. The production is amazing here as well. I'm still not that sold on Lil Yachty as an artist, though.
Samurai is a calm album, melodically enjoyable, and puts you to rest. The relaxed beats and jazz throughout the album work with Lupe as they have before. I love the writing and feel of the album, and its short, compact style not making it longer than needed.
It could be overrated, but raw thoughts come to me from this album. I listened to this with a bad headache, and really, this soothed it. Rest in Peace Mac, you are amazing. This album just gives the vibe of sitting on the beach and staring at the waves while disassociating and thinking about everything.
I can't rate this. This is just slop. Long-awaited grails (530 and Sky City) completely ruined, or not worked on. AI was used here, but there is no artist integrity. RIVER and PROMOTION are the only decent songs, man. My former favorite artist and the artist who made me love music is washed and doesn't even care. It is sad.
Seeing Kanye evolve from communicating well with his staff to isolating, becoming arrogant, and forgetting those who helped him is sad to see. His ego got the ... read more
“Die Lit” is the debut album of Playboi Carti. I didn’t expect much from this album, mainly just a repeat of his breakout mixtape, but not only was it unexpected by how good it was, but It convinced me that Carti has that level of quality that pushes him to the top of the game.
This is a great album, another vibe-heavy album with great production from Pi’erre Bourne, elevating this album. The stacked feature list also greatly helps this album, making it an improvement ... read more
“Playboi Carti” by Playboi Carti is the breakout mixtape of the now well-renowned rapper. This album is pure vibes, as Carti flows through the production and experiences summer-like vibes. The lyrics are nothing to talk of, but this album is purely fun.
“OK Computer” by Radiohead is a masterpiece. This album, with its writing on the world at the time, and its robotic undertones, crafts it to be amazing. The vocals mix wonderfully with the instrumentals, making each song sound amazing in its own right. This album has some personal songs to me, which makes me love it all the more. Perfection.
“The Bends” by Radiohead is the second album delivered by the band. This album is a great step-up from their previous, refining their sound and delivering graceful vocals better then the last. Another hit from Radiohead. but, i REALLY hate Black Star. For no reason. I just don't like it. I dont like that song.
“Pablo Honey” by Radiohead is the debut album of the legendary band. This album is a pretty good debut and insight into the future of the band. Nothing extraordinary really, but it is overhated.
“Melt My Eyez See Your Future” by Denzel Curry is one of my favorites, and consistent albums from Denzel himself. The production in this album is magnificent and makes you feel heavenly, combined with Denzel’s vocals providing such a melodic and lifting experience. The lyrics were more uplifting for a Denzel album, and i really like the direction he is taking.
