Just wanted to let y'all know that I think this album is a god damn masterpiece.
I probably like this album better than IGOR, although it does come pretty close.
The amount of emotion and pure musical bliss all throughout the album makes it a satisfying listen, with songs like Garden Shed and See You Again swinging with the amazing use of tension and release that makes these songs so enjoyable to listen to.
Lowkey can't diss on this album, it's damn near perfect.

An album that redefined the norm. That's what The Dark Side of The Moon is. Pink Floyd, with this album, evolved into a culture shifting phenomenon, bursting into a scene that had simply never heard the atmosphere and psychedelia that was produced on this record.

Wish You Were Here represents a time in Pink Floyd's career where they had to decide whether to become sellouts, piggybacking off of the success of their juggernaut The Dark Side of The Moon, or create something that again redefines progressive rock and rock in general forever, and record a masterpiece, that would be considered their greatest work, and be remembered for being infinitely influential for many years to come. Their choice, of course, was the latter.
