Charles Hamilton & H2 - Starchaser Radio

HORRIBLE MIXING besides that it's alright but the beat to World Conquest sounds like bullshit being thrown at the wall but the others are alright, not good but alright (ALSO WTF IS SWEET SIXTEEN CHARLES... WTF)

Ninja Sex Party - The Prophecy

Just like Cool Patrol this is a set up production wise we can hear the band moving into different styles with do math with u or revert to their old minimal style with the Decision pt 2 but as much as this album is good some of the songs are a little too basic for me like it's bedtime, thunder & lightning and even the magic crystal and I think this is what makes it lower then cool patrol for me, Favs IDK what were talking about, welcome to my parents house, wondering tonight, the ... read more

The Residents - Fingerprince

I heard somebody call this a better non nazi version of TR&R but this isn't that good as Third it could be the covers that I like but to me this is alright but that it, Six ways to a Cycle gave me a headache but the rest was alright, favs Home Age Conversation, Godsong, Bossy
also my copy had baby fingers so I'll add the EP was ass besides Walter Westinghouse (was not expecting the N-bomb though)

Charles Hamilton - Autumn Harvest... Is A Bi-Polar Rabbit
78

The production is different and interesting I can deal with it sometimes but I think it might not be for me, fav morning radio, bunny to a rabbit, marylin monroe, crash at her place, moody, zoloft woodstock and arcade sparks

James Pants - Welcome
85

I discovered James Pants after stumbling apon We're Through somehow I fell in love with the synth pop and decided to give the album a listen on the way to school and thought it was alright I remember not being too fussed on most of the other tracks besides showerparty and we're through but I must of liked it enough to put it on my Christmas list and later get it on CD I've always given the album a relisten whenever I go through my backlog of CDs and everytime I like it more and ... read more

Charles Hamilton - Segahamilton.blogspot.com

Highs and lows with this tape you get some real good songs like nerverland ranch, 9 to 5 but I'm also not a fan of Kat Sacks for president (I think I'm showing my age here but WHAT TF IS THIS EVEN ABOUT) and c'mon the 8 minutes of decency police isn't needed, Fav Tracks nerverland ranch, 9 to 5 and maybe Blogger Dashboard

Yazoo - You and Me Both
76

Weak compared to Upstairs at Erics which is a shame because I love that album probably on my list of favourite albums from the 80s but there's something about this that puts me off maybe I just like UAE so much, Fav Happy People, Walk Away from love, And On

84

Wow... I must admit I listen to travelogue before and like some of the songs on here but this is almost like a step up, very darker then what I expected I must admit the cover art is weird as hell but the music kinda makes up for it, fav almost medieval, circus of death, blind youth, empire state human, You've lost that loving feeling and zero as a limit
My only problem besides artwork is probably the reissue content which to be fair I doubt the band had any involvement with the dignity of ... read more

ABC - The Lexicon of Love
83

very nice production I just think the album's big singles Poison Arrow, Tears Are Not Enough and Look Of Love are a little distracting, Fav Show Me, Valentine's day

The Postal Service - Give Up
72

James Figurine why couldn't you go back to figurine (idk the lore yet but) this is just 2000s twink pop, owl city if it tried to mature

Charles Hamilton - StHRezzurexion
82

I must admit I used this tape as exposure for his latter work and I can see the appeal, Dear Dr Doom's good next to Sonic in London alot of the tracks are solid to me besides the SEGA album and TWA

Charles Hamilton - 10 Things I Hate About Me
84

Alot of creative instrumentals even if I don't rock with I am always up to something I must admit it's creative that he sampled the video of himself getting hit, favs Multi Player Love, Sweets, Inner discussion and Trekkie girl (maybe gloves too)

Queen - Hot Space
64

mid like a couple good tracks like staying power, body language, cool cat (would of been way better with Bowie's backing vocals) and of course under pressure

82

Real highs and not lows but mids like the first half is good especially She Knows Too Much, I Did This To Myself and Funny Friends but Great Americans and You left without saying goodbye and alot of the other tracks kinda merge into one
