Those documentary episodes are so essential to understanding and painting a picture for this project as a whole. It’s beautiful because of the way that there’s literal video on him depicting everything is his lyrics. The bar about having to watch his grandma die in the house he bought, I’m not a lyricist still holding so much weight in his writing and just being raw with emotion, and just the overall balance between fun, melodic, and emotional cuts is so enjoyable to listen to.
I’m so proud of this man bro. I know he’s touched on a lot of these topics of trying to find balance with the current place he find himself, but this feels like him finally finding that sense of acceptance and understanding. It feels like age has only helped him build upon these themes of finding balance and accepting his past and he’s able to truly live. Beautiful and I’m so happy for Earl man that’s my goat.
I am prepared to be in the frontlines to defend any of the slander that this is currently happening.
