More electronic and upbeat than i'm used to from Cavetown but I think that that's a good thing. Quite possibly my new favorite Cavetown album but we'll see how I feel after multiple listens.

Best listened to front to back in one sitting, just allowing yourself to immerse in the chaotic cohesion they've created.

A legitimate early contender for album of the year for me. A return to the sound of the High Visceral days that made me fall in love with the band so much but with a modern spin highlighting how they've grown as a band since then. This album is everything I've wanted from them and more.
I've gotten into drone music fairly recently, due to my discovery of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I quickly fell in love with the genre as I listened through their entire discography, so when I heard that this new Ethel Cain album was going to be a drone album I got very excited.
I first found Ethel's music when I listened to Preacher's Daughter early last year, and while I did enjoy that album a lot, Perverts had me absolutely enraptured from start to finish.
