"I don't need astrologyyy cuz' my God is so elite!"
I never thought I'd give a Christian rap project such a high score, but Hi-C delivered such insane bangers that it should be considered blasphemy to rate this anything below an 8/10.
I've listened to my fair share of "maximalist" music - Death Grips, Sematary, fucking AgusFortnite2008. So I never expected to reach my limit on this unassuming SWMG / BBY GOYARD collab album. Like my brain cannot physically process what's going on.
Where do the tags start and the beats end? Even the 808s sound like they're performing exorcism on the tracks.
I'm surprised, scared and excited for whatever they decide to do next.

Aeter proves he's one of the most unique and versatile voices to come out of the gothangelz movement. Even though he's clearly going for a more accessible sound on this album, it doesn't water down his style at all (unlike Pony by Wifiskeleton, where I missed some of the charm his older music had). This is easily Aeter's best project and a great entry point to his discography. I hope this one will get him the flowers he deserves.
