20 rap songs and no misses? Lil Ugly Mane absolutely amazed me with the quality of production on every song. This is what every gangsta rap should strive to be. Entertaining, fun, replayable, and most importantly, unique.
It's fun and interesting but lacks music depth. The songs do not really show a unique concept or any change in style. WGIA clears.
Took me a relisten to realize that my goat fell off. Don't get me wrong, there's many great tracks and production overall is great too, but it's just not the same as the old JPEGMAFIA. Especially his rapping: it's the first time his songs sound repetitive. I'm still happy though because I love a ton of singles here so it's whatever.
Took me a couple listens to fully understand this music. I'm not a big fan of Earl's way of rapping but this truly creates emotions out of nowhere and makes me start thinking about the moments of my life that I hid deep inside my brain.
