I'm not crazy about it, but it is a strong and undeniably solid record. Great experience all the way through with impressive cohesion.
Unlike on their last record, in this album Robber Robber shows a very detached tracklist and seems to struggle in finding a cohesive sound until the last four tracks.
I did not expect much from this as I wasn't quite impressed by its singles. However I had hope I'd be wrong in thinking I would dislike it this much.
It sounds so bland and souless until the last quarter of the album...
The vocals are interesting but the instrumental just don't get anywhere at all, the guitars on the background are almost the same as nothing and in a few tracks the bass really carries the song. The only shoutouts to instrumentals I'd give are the bass in Carousel and the violin in Fool For You. Other than that, everything is kinda boring.

I like the production on this a lot. The guitars are catchy and have many layers in every song, making the experience fun and diverse.
The lyrics have some ons and off, but are ok in general. I believe this has potential of growing in me so I might even come back after with a greater score.
Great vocals and fun instrumentals, but it doesn't show much on the lyrics side. I'd say it is a pretty safe yet well executed record
