I was really dissapointed in this album to be honest.
I didn't mind glaive's last LP. It had some songs I enjoyed, and it felt like a cohesive project all around. I wish I could say the same here.
This album feels very oddly put together. It feels like if glaive decided to grab eleven random demos from previous projects and put them onto an album. Certain songs just do not mesh well together.
Songwriting also is not strong on this album. There were multiple moments where I looked ... read more
She's gonna be the indie pop darling of 2025 I'm calling it now.
This had some strong songs and some weak ones for me! Obviously this comes with time and this was her first EP. I think as she figures out her sound she'll grow to become a really strong artist. Excited to see how things go with her next project!

I'm very plesently surprised with this!! I'm so happy he brought back the sound that he experimented with in his "del mar county fair 2008" cover. This hyperpop-ish sound mixed with the things we've come to expect with Cavetown is so refreshing and suits him really well!
As most others have said, the final two tracks were definetly weaker, but not bad at all ... read more
I got exactly what I expected going into this. Some silly little songs with silly little beats behind them.
Some of the tracks sadly didn't click with me which sucks. But oh well.
Loved the track transitions

I wish that I loved this album more than I did.
My main takeaway from this album is that Dayglow needs to work with other people. Whether it be songwriters or producers. I noticed pretty much every song on this album sounded the same.
What really stood out to me was the lyrics, most if not all of the songs were mostly the same phrase repeated over and over again. That got irritating once I noticed it.
The charm is still there though! I think we just need to broaden our horizons a ... read more
nostalgic. this came out on my first day of middle school and i remember it bringing a sense of comfort on a day that was pretty hard on me.
while rough around the edges, this project is still charming, and showed a lot of promise for future work
