Thus Spoke Zarathustra - Act Like You Don't Know

Solid deathcore. Punishing breakdowns, melodic parts, and incredible guitar and drum work. A little unoriginal, but heavy enough to be enjoyable. Samples are also a little cheesy but i don’t mind them much

Favorites: Artery Records Could Never, I Have A Theory, Babylon Decipticon

Internal Bleeding - Voracious Contempt

Voracious Contempt is one of my favorite albums of all time, and it’s clear to see why. Voracious Contempt is the debut album of the brutal death metal band Internal Bleeding. This album pioneered the slam genre, and is one of the best in said genre. Each song feels like a punch to the gut, without and breathing room. Each song grooves perfectly, and is crazy heavy. The drumming on this album is absolutely insane, and the vocals are top notch.

To be honest, i wasn’t really expecting this album to be good. Whenever an artist releases a comeback album, i always wince. It’s either really good, or dogshit. “Blurred Away” by Oakwood is the former.

Oakwood - Summer

Summer took everything that S/T did well and made it better. Songs are twinkly, but now they’re so much more depressing. “Im Still Cheering For The 1980’s US Hockey Team” is one of my favorite songs of all time.

Favorites: Im Still Cheering For The 1980’s US Hockey Team, Space Jam Theme Song

Oakwood was my first screamo band, but they’re still amazing in my eyes. Twinkly fun shit, to say the least.
