Deuce at his bravest. Didn't age well, but it was really fun while it lasted. Couldn't find highly anticipated "pedocore", as described by other reviews.
A rap-rock ballad of spite and rising from ashes.
Didn't really age well, but most of the tracks are still enjoyable.
If you're a rebel teen and you feel you've been mistreated, this record is for you.
I heard it when I was 10, and it's the only album that makes me feel like I'm still 10. In a good way.
Yeah, J. Cole really ripped Tech off.
Other than that, the album is near damn perfect.
!!!The story is HEAVILY developed upon in later EPs, such as "Seepage", " Boiling Point" and "The Lost Scripts of K. O. D. ", so to understand the whole picture, those three are must-listen!!!
A thrilling story of what happens when you let anger and darkness within take over and take action. A rather dark picture, with its leitmotifs, themes, and extra-ecplicit content.
!! This is a review of EnterFear as an arch of Tech's music. This means, it takes into account the album itself, the MoreFear, and the Fear Exodus EPs. Without them, the story is simply incomplete.
This record learn a lot from its predecessor, and it shows. A lot of people thought there were a lot of fillers in "N9NA", and this time, there are none. Tech throws every ace from under his hand to make this record enticing and exciting : switching up styles, flows and themes. If you ... read more
The first of Aaron's albums to touch on the modern state of hip-hop in its basic form. "The Planet" was modern (and I dare say superb), though this time Tech lays off all of his genius ideas and tries the water in a widely-known form of the genre.
Great story as always and outstanding flows
Every Tech's album before this one had some of experimentation within itself : from the mind-boggling flows to a song with literally 8 beat switches. This one, though, is special.
Similar to "The Storm", Aaron opens up to us, creating a concept of his own Planet, which is a welcome addition to his universe to me. This ideas of a perfect world without the sins of the Earth goes as a red string through the entire piece. He backs this concept up with many futuristic, I'd even say " ... read more
Aaron started his career with an LP called "Calm Before the Storm", and now begins said "Storm".
To fully experience this work, you would have to be filled in on concepts from previous Tech albums like " K. O. D." and so on, but even excluding this, it's a great record.
Favs : pretty much all of the songs
Least favs : "We're Not Sorry", it's still good though
