This is an insane and shocking return from out of nowhere. Any new material from Lausse The Cat after such a long time would have been intriguing, but "The Mocking Stars" is truly impressive. While taking similar feelings and narratives as his first album, such as disillusionment from society and general isolation, The Mocking Stars takes the instrumentation everywhere, to really great effect.
Let's see if we're back here in another 7 years haha
