Greatest album of all time.
I really don’t know how to put into words my love for this album. It’s filled to the brim with unsettling beauty, all these charming classic tunes of love and heartbreak, of dedication and depression. This album was like a voyage for sure. Though it wasn’t quite the tight concept album I assumed it would be based on the track listing (the themes of death and ghosts occurring several times throughout the album), it felt like i was watching the narrators slowly becoming more comfortable with the thoughts of death, initially running from the idea in the first track, and throughout the album, learning to embrace it after realizing just how shitty everything is, eventually dying at the very ... read more
