Daft Punk never forget to let their playful, hip-hopping ambient techno keep turning the beat around, making Homework ideal disco for androids.

Led by hits like the unrelenting “Da Funk” and the dizzying “Around the World,” the album is a savory mix of borderline-cheesy filtered loops and super-simple drum machine beats and basslines.

This is a mighty mash-up of a debut which radically redefines France's pop credentials. And Daft Punk probably make a tasty quiche too.

An EDM classic, Daft Punk’s debut, “Homework” is danceable as all hell with plenty of playful, funky sounds while also experimenting with different genres. It can be a little bit grating at times though.

This is my favorite studio album by Daft Punk. Holy crap, this sounded like nothing ever heard before this, it's so different than any other record they've done, it's such an amazingly crafted, innovating, and fresh house record. I love the rawness of the production in this album, I love how catchy every song is, I love the whole aesthetic that runs through all of this record. Daft Punk is such an interesting and creative band and this record is the perfect example of that, no one else made ... read more

this wasnt a bad album, i just wasnt using this as it is meant to be used: for dancing. its a good LP with some catchy tracks and really great production, i just cant find myself ever going back to this, unless i need dance music for whatever reason. for the time it was released, it's a big step for electronic music. but when i have many more options at my disposal now, this isnt what i would go to.
