AllMusic
Thick, rumbling bass, vocoders, choppy breaks and beats, and a certain brash naiveté permeate the record from start to finish, giving it the edge of an almost certain classic. While a few fall flat, the best tracks make this one essential.

For all of Homework’s aggressive charms, it’s also retained a homespun intimacy in comparison to how positively widescreen Daft Punk’s music became afterwards.

Far Out Magazine

Even though the electronic push and pull of Homework can sound unrefined compared to the slick house-infused sounds of Discovery or the futuristic disco thump of Random Access Memory, Daft Punk’s debut still resonates.

Entertainment Weekly

Daft Punk never forget to let their playful, hip-hopping ambient techno keep turning the beat around, making Homework ideal disco for androids.

Weirdo-funk, then, with lashings of trash-culture, cool and crunchy breakbeats. Daft Punk always sound original, inventive, exciting and dangerous.

NME

This is a mighty mash-up of a debut which radically redefines France's pop credentials. And Daft Punk probably make a tasty quiche too.

Slant Magazine
Led by hits like the unrelenting “Da Funk” and the dizzying “Around the World,” the album is a savory mix of borderline-cheesy filtered loops and super-simple drum machine beats and basslines.

Rolling Stone
The French duo Daft Punk's essential, career-defining insight is that the problem with disco the first time around was not that it was stupid but that it was not stupid enough.

The Sydney Morning Herald

It has to be said that at least nine of Homework's 16 tracks are reasonably listenable ... The rest are about as interesting as listening to a car alarm.

NOW Magazine

A couple of Gallic greebos who've never heard of DJ Sneak attempt to pass off their disco-damaged take on Chicago house as something new. Not on this continent. Any resemblance of Homework's moronic and numbingly repetitive grooves to punk or funk is purely accidental.

Just when I thought there was a possibility of a new Daft Punk album, they break up. I just cannot believe the iconic duo are never going to make music anymore. While the news is depressing, Daft Punk had nothing left to prove and had a legendary run. Electronic music would not be the same without Daft Punk, and they continue to influence many electronic and dance artists.

Eğlenceli bir French house albümü Daft Punk'ın en iyi üçüncü albümü bana göre.
