harsh and dirty, as the name implies

i get flak for it but this is my favorite metallica record. it just feels like the color blue and the feeling of energy surging through a power line

this being one of kurt's last performances exemplifies its impact and meaning. the cover of where did you sleep last night is heart breaking, especially when watching a video of the performance.

Every track on this record is astounding, both with the beat and lyricism. Not to mention the production is amazing yet still not over the top. The story-telling is amazing, how all of the tracks tell a connected story within one another using the outro phone calls. Amazing LP.
