Decided to rewrite my entire review from the top as my opinion has changed on this album quite a bit, my infatuation with the division bells felt... forced. Atom Heart Mother is a beautiful album and it's kinda underrated tbh. I will say, while i do not necessarily think that Atom Heart Mother Suite is exactly on par with the quality of echoes, it is damn near close. The song is by far the longest from pink floyd being like 10 seconds longer than echoes yet it always has me equally engaged. The song is experimental and unique and i like it for that. Not a fan of AMLOR but for some reason this song worked for me. I mean the lyrics are eh (could be said for basically all of AMLOR) but in this particular instance it doesn't bother me AND i don't think the instrumental sounds that bad, in fact, i love it. This really is the only song i go back to AMLOR for.
Wow alright, This sucks. The lyrics are corny and the sound is not that interesting until maybe the very end. Pink floyd has better war songs. This just in general is one of pink floyd's worse. And god i hate how Gilmore's vocals sound here.
Changed to 99, This album is so fucking good. The atmosphere and the guitar, everything just worked out perfectly for me.
I hate this, such a lame fucking way to end the last album and "conclude" pink floyd. Not even that big of a "High Hopes" guy but that song was way better in every single way to end pink floyd.
Eh, i like the first minute and half but it gets a bit worse for me after that tbh
Percussion on Let There Be More Light has to be some of my favorite from Nick.
Scream Thy Last Scream is actually a banger.
Vegetable man is alright.
