ok but like besides the odd shit, it's most offensive crime is being bland as fuck dude. What a waste of 7 minutes.
Bland, uninspired and boring as shit. This had really no real reason to need to exist. High hopes, a decent send off song would've already been enough but nooo, they just had to make another album, and even if it was dedicated to richard i still don't think of this album any more fondly. I would basically never recommend it unless someone really wants to listen to a mediocre ambient track.
And god dude the ending song is just dull, did they even try? It doesn't hit AT ALL, AND THEY HAD LIKE 20 ... read more
It's okay, It has a few songs i think are actually pretty good and i listen to every once in a while (Learning to fly and One slip, and the turning away are nice) and i also don't really mind the 80's sound. But damn, when the stinkers come on, they fucking stink, A new machine is just unnecessary, it doesn't hit at all and did not need to be 2 parts. Dogs of war is pretty corny, PF has done a lot of war songs and way better.
I don't mind signs of life or terminal frost, they're alright. I ... read more
Nightmare (cymbaline) live at Concertgebouw is unironically one of my favorite songs of all time.
Gonna take my review from ummagumma
I actually really like the live part of the album with Careful with That Axe, Eugene being the big outlier. People say DSOTM, WYWH, or Animals invoke the biggest senses of euphoria and drug-like sensations but honestly out of everything I've heard from pink Floyd, this takes the cake. The Live Album does absolute wonders of balancing the low energy music with vibeness, seriously, you'd think you'd get bored listening to the Live Album quite easily yet it ... read more
Ummagumma is interesting, the songs are more uninteresting than anything but it's got some neat stuff on it. Me and this album have an interesting history as this is the first album i heard exclusively on vinyl for the first time and it was a fucking trip.

I honestly didn't care for this album, but i just had a change of heart after listening to this album today. i thought this album was boring but i really vibed with almost everything on here while listening to this album on a commute. I've grown a larger appreciation for it and Syd, and this honestly makes listening to jugband blues hit really hard. This album feels so nice and homey (similar to how meddle and AHM makes me feel at times) and it has slowly grown to become one of my favorite ... read more
More is not very good, i doubt i will be listening to the full album any time soon again as most of it was boring with the 3 highlights being: The Nile Song, Cymbaline (a favorite of mine), and green is the colour.
But honestly after green is the colour, most the songs aren't very interesting. I wouldn't recommend the album unless your really getting into pf
A saucerful has really passed by the attention of many pf fans, and this album is honestly amazing. It has the contributions from everyone on the team at the time to create some really nice tracks and it's honestly better than piper. Funny how people thought Pink Floyd was struggling real hard after Syd left, yet here they are creating a wonderful album without him being the sole ban leader. The listen to a saucerful was also way more interesting and engaging than the one from a piper full ... read more
the only thing stopping me from giving it a 100 is that fact that it isn't shine on you crazy diamond, but still amazing.
My favorite Syd track, sometimes i can feel like playing this shit on forever. there's just this nice attraction it has, it's catchy and doesn't overstay it's welcome.
*ahem* interstellar overdrive *ahem*.
it just grew on me, might be overrating it but atm i'm starting to really dig this.
