First time listening to some actual singer song writer stuff. This was recommended to me by a friend and shes got taste ngl. This album was very comfy and the lyrics were very intriguing all throughout. Didn't look at what song I was listening to most of the time so I can't properly rank every song but Land Locked Blues and Poison Oak are my personal favs. I would absolutely listen to this again.
first radiohead album listen. superb, and I'm certain my fondness for this album will only grow over the course of more listens
actually very enjoyable.
Touching Me Touching You is honestly one of my biggest guilty pleasures lmfao. The entire album is just very fun and is definitely worth the listen
didn't know what i expected from some early 2000s rock emo shit. But I've been missing out, this stuff exceeded my expectations and was honestly such a vibe. I'm definitely going to play this more.
my emo phase commences now.
screw it, it's a 100 i don't care anymore
don't know why, just can't behind this song that much. Like i think it's good but not nearly as good as the ratings make it out to be, atleast to me.
Just... wow. this was probably the most uncomfortable listen I've ever had. Knowing the dude had passed and with the lyrics present on each song.. i guess this is one of those things i listen to once but don't really come back to (might be a first actually).
had this at a 100, but lowered it as for some reason the songs don't transition well on streaming services. Kinda ruins the flow of it all.
thought this was mid and overrated through my first listen, like, it was fine but not 91 user score fine. By my 2nd listen, i honestly really enjoyed this project a lot more by simply just giving in and some having fun with it. Now i can understand much of the hype. Face to Face and Digital Love are literally peak.
I mean, c'mon, it's echoes. First pink floyd song i actually listened to and it's probably their second best only being beat by shine on you crazy diamond. such an amazing and unique song for '71. One of the things that entirely changed my perspective on older music.
Meh, first introduction to this type of music, and i can't get behind it really, atleast not cannibal corpse. Yeah the vocals are also just odd, not in a good way either. Lyrics are over the top gruesome, which is obviously fine, but every song feels the same in terms of lyrical content. through the first portion of the album i was taken back and intrigued by the explicit lyrics, but by the second half i was already numb to it, and fucking bored out of my mind. Again, this just really ... read more
Felt like i was undergoing some weird psychological manipulation for 20 minutes, but at the same time, cats :3. 10/10
Lets not shit ourselves, the rating is heavily driven on nostalgia. HOWEVER, this soundtrack is truly beautiful and for a video game soundtrack in 2011 it is just sublime, while i don't think it's better than the beta soundtrack, I still love it. Not an album i'd listen to often but it's still great. It's experimental and it still sounds new and amazing which is why it is one of the most influential soundtracks of all time.
#17 of all time is kinda crazy lol.
i used to listen to torches alot then i just sorta stopped for a really long time, listening to it again and it's fun, got some nice tunes and for an album in 2011 the sound didn't really age all that poorly for me. The lyrics are just meh, surprisingly no profound political commentary hidden behind each song 0/10. But all in all i mean it's solid.
