The first time I listened to this, it was better than I thought it would be, but my second listen was worse than how I remembered it, soooo Ig it's just kind of okay-ish.

HOLY LOVE this album falls off after "Don't Blame Your Daughter," although "Holy Love" is really good.

Whole time I was thinking in my head that this style would go perfectly with one of those jazzy swing trumpets. Then the final song, "Nobody," came on, and it was like I was given a gift.
Very good, not as good as Let Live & Let Ghosts, and sometimes I felt like the drums were kinda light(?), but overall, it was better than I expected because I was under the impression that they fell off after their debut, and that songs like "Schizophrenia" were a fluke. I am satisfied. This was a whole lot better than I expected. Big Florence + The Machine vibes, but more electronic like Charli. Mowgil's Road is my fav ❤️
A different direction from the previous albums. Here, they take on a much more electronic and grittier sound, which overall I think is a downgrade, but it's still good, and it's an interesting direction to take things for a one-off album. Unfortunately, there is a big drop-off in quality after this lp.
Marvel Hill is probably my favorite.
