Undeniably a very good release
Why is there randomly a full album masterpiece every 5 years coming from Jyp artists haha (this one, formula of love, reboot..). This album stands among the best RnB and indie releases of the year. I prefer the less pop tracks, I appreciate firecracker but it fell so much more flat than the other songs, love the strawberry letter sample tho.
Track 8 is genuinely the best thing I heard coming out of the kpop industry for years

Wendy finally digging in a style that is hers (rock! You can tell she was waiting to dive into it), and unfortunately it's not my taste but well. Wishing her the best for this album

Extremely bad music we're so back

Her voice sounds nicer than in her previous releases, synth pop really suits her. This sounds nothing like the rest of her discography, it's so much better and while it's good for me, it shows her inconsistency

Me liking the only song that isn't aespa like... Yup, their discography is not for me

I feel I really am the only one that love that vibe from ive, just love the blend of the ethereal adlibs of theirs with harsher sound and btw, visually, sonically, they're so distinct in this, I do not vibe that much withe the b-sides but it's so Ive idk I don't get the bad feedbacks

The cover is v cute but I kinda regret listening to this bc it was painfully boring apart from some songs like da capo or chocolate tea, but which are far from being perfect, at least it's original

Finaly a more serious yet pop release. Young posse is def taking themselves a bit more seriously, trying other things than cheaply copying what we think is hip -hop. Yssr incorporates more innovative sounds and try to blend genres to bring something we've quite never seen in kpop, reminds me of beastie boys. Im not sure we can consider her work kpop but well I won't complain about some neo soul in kpop which sounds so sophisticated. idk what SM is aiming to do with this, it almost feels like a indie release but it's not, it's not quite pop actually. Love splash 72/100 Just love how this sounds different from other kpop releases (the voice work is v unique) and sounds very red velvet, despite including some contemporary hooks and details like dnb. Not that much for me but it just fits Joy. It's cute and it's sooooo red aah I'm kinda melting from how endearing haha

Freaking love the idea and all the prods are pretty much good but the mixing is kinda weird

New jack swing is the best thing that happened to kpop, idc if it sounds nugu or stuff I just need them to keep going this way. Their sound is starting to feel so distinct

Actually I respect this work as a rich and original, nevertheless piece of pop. We have here a true digging for unheard sounds that we don't really find in kpop and pop usually.
