Asylum:10.1/10
Produced by Preservation, written and rapped by Billy Woods.
This album starts with this amazing track (my favorite billy woods song) called asylum.
The song starts off with this unknown Ethiopian jazz sample and the opening line “I think Mengistu Haile Mariam is my neighbor”, who is Mengistu haile Mariam after all? Well, he was a socialist Ethiopian dictator in the late ... read more

Ngl I coudn't get into this album as much as you probably did but this sounds like music from my childhood but in a booring way not in a nostalgic type of way.
It's bad, but there is something in there that evolves into the david bowie that we all know and love. (idk what it is... still pretty bad, not that horrible tho)

1st track (disk 1), cloud of forgetting:99
This song has a similar pattern of a few song off of To Be Kind ... read more
