A more mature and developed sound than their first (also excellent) record.
This album shows a band who have amalgamated their influences and truly made them into something of their own.
The record's cohesion and consistency are two of the key factors which best represent the band's quality.

A very underrated effort from Morrissey, and one I believe to be right up there with his more acclaimed works.
Plenty of standout tracks, with catchy lyrics and unique vocal melodies.
Morrissey's humor once again shines throughout . I especially like the lines "Your boyfriend, he
went down on one knee. Well, could it be, He's only got one knee?" from the song 'King Leer'.
Favourites being 'Our Frank', 'Mute Witness' and 'King Leer'.
