there is like barely any other albums i can think of that are as consistently amazing, the whole way through, as Shouso strip
The line between pop and rock is blurred to the maximum and it makes every song as hypnotic and enchanting as the last one and the general obscurity of it (at least to me... cuz i dont speak japanese) makes it so fun to listen through

Some bad, lots of good. Most of the songs have little electronic parts, unless they are absolutely needed for that song to sound like that song (hunter's drums, pluto, i go humble) and they replace them with strings, played by the icelandic string octet, the same orchestra that played on the original Homogenic. They don't completely reinvent the songs, but there's a good deal of divergence from Homogenic.

its only a soundtrack album, so it shouldn't exactly be held to the same judgement as the rest of her discography
nonetheless Following up BRAT is a nearly impossible task it being the cultural phenomenon that it was. Wuthering heights manages to do a pretty fine job.
