this was carti having fun. and no hate, i mess with it a LOT.
Pi'erre Bourne‘s production is obviously very consistent and INSANE. i love his cloudy sound while carti mumbles and raps over it. there’s not much to say, it’s just a fun album.
however, the project does get lacking after the ninth track, No. 9. it does get boring, and this is where things get boring and lackluster. you notice where carti does the same sound mumble and flow and it gets so old.

no. sorry. i couldnt sit through this album for a relisten. all of the songs dragged on and are a desperate “pick me” vibe to everything. and i can’t even remember the track list.
i wasn’t and still am not the biggest taylor fan. i find her music like chicken without seasoning. and if there IS seasoning, it’s probably pepper and salt. her music to me is tasteless, though there are a few outliers.
this album is extremely generic and slop. i can’t find a ... read more
DAMN. my first kendrick album. i didn’t know what lyricism was at the time, mind you i was like a kid when i first listened. however, this clicked with me. now, when looking at The album again it feels very intricate and this is obviously Kendrick Lamar‘s most detailed and deep album. The production feels very classical and modern very sophisticated. The lyrics are deep, meaningful, and many different things and this is what I like about Kendrick this album while not his best for me ... read more
consistent. makes your eyes water. i used to play chanel on loop 24/7 when it came, and that got me into listening to Blonde. when listening it to the first time my eyes did water from how deep the connection felt between the artist and listener. the production is also great, and frank doesn’t usually miss at all. i’m not a fan sometimes of the high pitched vocals.
i also LOVE the interludes. it adds into a depth of, i guess… immersion. it makes the album feel much more ... read more
no. just no.
fav track: We Go High
least favorite: Hot Shower (ft. MadeinTYO & DaBaby)
at first i didn’t really like the album first listen. but yeezus isn’t much of a lyrical album, its more into exploring ye’s sexual themes and adding onto with overlapping production that sends your ears into an eargasm. i think this is his best work, and production wise can be very influential. this is my favorite bit of work for him.
There’s always a song for everything in that album, and this album is seasoned to perfection and Rick Rubin perfects the minimalism ... read more
