To celebrate a quarter of a thousand followers, I’m gonna start a “Deep Dive” into the highest rated albums on this site to expand my music taste and see what the hype is about. I’m going to evaluate what makes each album so special, my thoughts on them and then decide if it deserves such a high rating. (Not so very) Quick thoughts: Will give a score after a few more listens
A combination of some of my favorite genres of all time like shoegaze, death metal and metalcore? Hell yes.
Albums that offer a wide range of sounds, ideas and concepts can be very difficult to pull off. It is much easier to usually hone in on one sound and master it. However, on "I Let It in and It Took Everything," you get the very best of several different genres on a plethora of different tracks.

The evolution of this band over the past decade has been outrageous.

Thank you Jane Remover for carrying 2025 so far 👏
Whether under the Jane Remover or venturing alias, she continues to make such great music over the past several months, which proves that she has potential to be an MVP of 2025. Venturing could be a way to continue on with the shoegaze sound reminiscent on 2023's Census Designated, which she has mainly moved on from on her other alias. Ghostholding offers what to me is an improvement from Census Designated.
