the lyrics is pretty funny and unique, as if it’s going for a haunting aesthetic. the beats and production here is a banger. while i don’t think it’s AOTY, it’s a very solid album
i’m glad billie felt like herself in this album. this album was made with a lot of passion. the water around her is real. billie’s growth as an artist is arguably the best development right now. her singing voice was at its best in this album.
everything in this album sounds like a provocation. the instrumentation is organized to sound chaotic, and the lyrics is fucked up. even the cover looks provocative.
this is a great album but I thought my airbuds were broken when MX (including hidden tracks) did an extremely long pause until “damone” started playing š
