Some boring parts here but I don’t think there’s anything particularly bad here but also not much I love

Sure there are things I like about this album but compared to what we know they are capable of as a band this is super disappointing every single member has gotten way worse

I don’t get it
I don’t dislike 3 songs but they do nothing for me and the others I just don’t see what you can hear and receive enjoyment from it but I do respect it and think it’s pretty damn cool sounding at least

This project could heavily use better production that’s about it all around solid

After the first 2 songs I feel the songs aren’t as good as those 2 until the second to last track
The main highlight on the tracks I don’t love is the bassist whoever they are is cracked

After falling in love with out there I expected to like this a lot more which I do but it doesn’t touch out there

Fun and creative little tape that shows promise but doesn’t particularly wow me when compared to other stuff out there

I was expecting this to be better than three cheers and it isn’t at all
Still amazing don’t get me wrong and has my fav song by them but it has overall worse singing, and worse guitar work than three cheers
The story is a nice touch of course tho

Listened a while ago and forgot to rate it
Very very good stuff with some of the strongest chorus’s I’ve heard in a while
Only thing I can even dislike is a lot of the drums kinda sound the same on here but that’s it

This shit is awesome especially the first song
Part of me wants to say the drumming was the highlight but I also wanna say the sax and keys are cause everything on here is pretty cool

I like it but I don’t ever listen to this style of music more than once the lyrical greatness isn’t enough for me to care about the lack in instrumental
The instrumentals are nice but don’t change up much

Playboi Carti is my favorite rapper and has been since 2019
I thought the wait for wlr was bad I had no idea
Obviously I love the shit out of this album it’s already my most listened to album in the past year and it just came out
I’m not disappointed but it is my least favorite project of his so far because there are undeniable issues with it
It’s going for a 2010s mixtape feel with the 30 tracks and swamp izzo hosting but that doesn’t negate it of some criticisms

Has a charm to it that I really like
One of the few jazz albums that have a “off” feel to it that I like

I like a lot of what they do on here but a lot of good moments are covered in boring parts

Some songs have the vibe the self titled have that I like but others are wild but both still have the unstructured feel I disliked about the self titled but with only 2 songs I really liked

The rapping is often pretty solid but nothing new from 2pac the production is a lot worse than his past couple projects and the length only worked with all eyez in me cause he was in his prime during the making of it this was a slog to get through and I don’t think I’ll continue with his other posthumous releases

The vocals are a little annoying sometimes but I absolutely love the riffs and overall instrumentals

I like the vibe of the project but not particularly the type of jazz I like it feels very unstructured

Very fun bouncy project
Every member does their job great but I feel the bassist is my fav member of the group and the guitar can sound a little corny sometimes

This album doesn’t do anything I particularly dislike and I can see why this could rise to be an all time favorite for many but I don’t see myself getting something new out of another listen

Funky! But in the grand scheme of funky jazz fusion it doesn’t blow me away throughout the whole record just a couple stand outs here and there
