Most of these extra sounds are good but just sound like exactly that, extra songs.
She tried to do some different things on here and it ends up not as good as she can do

85

78->85
She is absolutely rapping her ass off on most of these songs and they are incredibly catchy

Megadeth - Rust in Peace
86

86->88
My fav thrash album easily the riffs go incredibly hard and I also really appreciate the bass playing on this album
Not a wasted track on here
Dave’s voice can be interesting sometimes but I never think it takes away from a song

88->86

Megadeth - So Far, So Good... So What!
83

I rlly can feel the aggression in this album and the passion while it may not have as good of solos as peace sells I think the riffs are super strong here and only 1 song I don’t care for

SEGA SOUND TEAM - 龍が如く5 夢、叶えし者 オリジナルサウンドトラック (Vol.2)
55

Of all this yakuza soundtracks this has the best jazz stuff but the rest is pretty boring tracks most of the time

2Pac - The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory
70

Nothing I dislike
Nothing super interesting or special about this compared to his others either
It’s just good

Swiss Jazz Orchestra - Live
60

Insane how good these covers are while being unique
This version of caravan is so cool in particular but my favorite is probably polka dots & moonbeams

87->60
Idk I was trippin on my previous score

SEGA SOUND TEAM - 龍が如く5 夢、叶えし者 オリジナルサウンドトラック (Vol.1)
80

Definitely not one of my favorite games in the series but definitely the best rock style music they’ve composed is on here where 4 had the best jazzy stuff

Weather Report - Black Market
84

Front to back super solid I wouldn’t say I love three clowns but the others are all great especially Barbary coast

87->84

Red House Painters - Down Colorful Hill
73

I love 24 and medicine bottle
It’s not that a lot of the songs sound the same but I feel I don’t get anything new from each song why would I listen to down colorful hill when I can listen to medicine bottle

Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill
73

She’s a great songwriter but I only like her singing like 70% of the time and this type alt rock a lot of times can feel “samey”

Megadeth - Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?
80

Classic thrash
Love Dave’s voice
Only 2 songs I don’t love

2Pac - All Eyez on Me
87

I was expecting an overated 90s release like most popular 90s rap albums but this is truly a gem that if it was condensed down from 27 songs into let’s say 17 or 18 it could truly be an all timer for me but a lot of songs with attempts at catchy choruses with girls singing I often don’t love and I don’t think a lot of the features were necessary
Also some of the song lengths don’t need to be 5 minutes

2Pac - Me Against The World
77

Honestly there is nothing in particular I dislike about this album

The Notorious B.I.G. - Born Again
70

I don’t see why this gets the hate it does just for being a posthumous release
I feel some of the songs are too pop-like for my taste in rap but biggie and most features have pretty good performances

大貫妙子 [Taeko Ōnuki] - Mignonne
71

Good but only about 3 highlights the rest aren’t very special to me

杏里 [Anri] - Timely!!
75

Maybe I’m just not in the right mood rn or I didn’t pay close enough attention but I feel I really should like this more than I did even tho I still liked it

Buddy Rich - Big Swing Face
74

Just an overall pretty basic jazz album

高中正義 [Masayoshi Takanaka] - SEYCHELLES
85

Super fun joyful album not much to say because there isn’t anything I dislike about this album in particular

Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
60

62->43
I was really hoping with my deeper appreciation for jazz my return to this album I would like it more but I find it even more boring then I did originally
Only 2 or 3 songs here I find worth the run time here

EDIT may 4th 2025

43->60

I have problems with this album still
I wrote a long review in my phone but to summarize the only consistently good player is miles I find the guitar and clarinet annoying, the songs are too long I don’t like the splicing of parts togetger, ... read more

On Sickboyrari - Sahel Dreamz
"@TheCartoon the first 4, let me know and can I gaal yu don’t sound like anything else he’s done really The other songs could fit on his last 2 projects easily and I already feel those albums were a move in the wrong direction being pretty generic compared to what he’s capable of which he starts to show on here again for the first time since euro glime (not a huge fan of euro glime anyways but that project was unique)"
On 久石譲 [Joe Hisaishi] - 千と千尋の神隠し [Spirited Away Soundtrack]
"@recordmusic18 the soundtrack perfectly fits the movie and I wouldn’t want a different soundtrack for such a perfect movie but on its own when treated like a normal album of music it’s not great Like the ost for the video game like a dragon kenzan it’s a bad album on its own but the feudal Japan setting fits perfect for the style of music"
On Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
"@bloxbusters what I mean is that I don’t feel like he sat down and made music casually and it popped out like this I feel like he’s creating music with the purpose of it being experimentation which works cool with the art of it but musically I prefer that to feel like a natural part of the artist process"
