John Coltrane - The Olatunji Concert: The Last Live Recording
30

I don’t rlly like free jazz or harsh noises it’s as simple as that

jaydes - Panic
24

Listened to this only cause someone said it’s the worst project ever and I was curious
There’s worse stuff but most of this is pretty bad only song that is pretty good is babies the rest are either just alright or trash

Electric Wizard - Dopethrone
81

Never been a huge stoner metal fan but this project is pretty strong and very interesting
Most of the time I’d have a problem with mixing like this but I actually feel it adds to the album and experience this time around

smokedope2016 - THE PEAK
71

Was rlly hoping this was at least as good as THE COMEUP but the sound gets a little stale and less unique when done this much by a specific artist without changing it up at all

Eminem - Kamikaze
19

Horrible attempt of “lyrical trap” I guess which comes off as incredibly corny but the poppier elements aren’t as bad

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale
74

73->74
some weaker stuff for Tyler’s standards

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST
86

80->86

His best rapping performances for the most part extremely solid stuff there is no obvious worst track like his other albums have imo

The Weeknd - My Dear Melancholy,
60

I thought the short length would be a positive but the few great songs make it a reasons to ask why this was even made

Antonio Sanchez - Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)
57

Pretty awesome drumming and I love how it’s used in the movie but it’s JUST drumming but I only rlly loved like 2 of the symphony music

A Perfect Circle - eMOTIVe
55

Some cool ideas here that are executed horribly

Didn’t know it was a cover album til after I listened lol

A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step
83

82->83
This album is so cool there are so many cool details I like about every song

TOOL - Lateralus
79

I really wish I liked this more I thought it would be comparable to enema but it’s not close I find a couple of the songs here uninteresting and the prog elements don’t hit like on their other works

No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom
84

I love Gwen stefanis voice
I feel as every member of the band knew exactly what they needed to do to make great music on this

Eminem - Revival
10

Wow man straight ass for an hour and 17 minutes
There’s like 4 songs I like tho and I like some of the beats but his rapping sucks
Not as corny as mmlp2 surprisingly

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
82

80->82
The production is so good here and the album is overall pure vibes where cherry bomb is chaos

The Weeknd - Starboy
77

I feel like a see a lot of hate for this album and I don’t see why it’s got some low points in the first half but definitely has more good than bad on it

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP2
20

Most of these songs just suck idk

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf
72

78->72
Great production I just cannot get behind a lot of the rapping from Tyler on this

The Weeknd - Beauty Behind The Madness
83

On this record he complete switches from a more psychedelic rnb to having a lot of pop music on the album but I think it’s really good stuff and the album is completely solid

TOOL - Undertow
70

Some incredible instrumentals with all around very lack-luster singing across the whole record with horrible vocal mixing

On Sickboyrari - Sahel Dreamz
"@TheCartoon the first 4, let me know and can I gaal yu don’t sound like anything else he’s done really The other songs could fit on his last 2 projects easily and I already feel those albums were a move in the wrong direction being pretty generic compared to what he’s capable of which he starts to show on here again for the first time since euro glime (not a huge fan of euro glime anyways but that project was unique)"
On 久石譲 [Joe Hisaishi] - 千と千尋の神隠し [Spirited Away Soundtrack]
"@recordmusic18 the soundtrack perfectly fits the movie and I wouldn’t want a different soundtrack for such a perfect movie but on its own when treated like a normal album of music it’s not great Like the ost for the video game like a dragon kenzan it’s a bad album on its own but the feudal Japan setting fits perfect for the style of music"
On Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
"@bloxbusters what I mean is that I don’t feel like he sat down and made music casually and it popped out like this I feel like he’s creating music with the purpose of it being experimentation which works cool with the art of it but musically I prefer that to feel like a natural part of the artist process"
