Super impressed by this album it doesn’t have the problems I have with the others I just wish specific tracks stood out to me more

Super solid fun stuff only problem I have with it is it can be a little all over the place
I love how different each song is and the highlight of this album is the guitar work
Jazz centered around a single player with minimal other instrumentals I often find uninteresting but not boring I like the playing on here quite a bit but it’s not enough to make a record worth returning too
Very similar to their first project but the songs that differ in style tend to be the more boring tracks on here
There are some insanely good track on here and some lackluster stuff that doesn’t even sound like it came from the same album
My favorite movie of all time with a insane soundtrack
I love orchestral jazz stuff but I’m new to classical music in general so this is about as high as I can rate a genre I’m not accustomed to/ don’t prefer
I like the experimentation on here a lot but electric bath is better
Some cool compositions here but pretty standard in the grand scheme in jazz
I love a lot of what this album does but I think other albums do what it does better
The psychedelic parts of open beauty was very unique tho

When I first heard this I had no idea it would lay the groundwork for how my music taste in rap would evolve
I found this album a little boring and the improv song at the end pointless even with it taking half the runtime of the album
The yakuza 4 soundtrack is so good it’s insane how well this translates from game into being an actual album not as solid as the first volume tho
I love how jazzy this one is and has the best rock stuff just such a good soundtrack
Cut it down to 20 songs and you have a fantastic album but with the whole length it gets a 8/10
Top 5 movie ever but the soundtrack is pretty basic when seen on its own and doesn’t touch the originals score

I like the more lowkey production compared to the last 2 records
All around really solid
I like the more experimental quality’s of this record compared to the first but the music is about the same quality but a little better

The other songs could fit on his last 2 projects easily and I already feel those albums were a move in the wrong direction being pretty generic compared to what he’s capable of which he starts to show on here again for the first time since euro glime (not a huge fan of euro glime anyways but that project was unique)"

Like the ost for the video game like a dragon kenzan it’s a bad album on its own but the feudal Japan setting fits perfect for the style of music"
