Holy holy is my song of the year and has been since I heard the single but I think at the end of the day the music is probably the highest I could rate something like this where it’s not exactly normal for me to listen to especially since I’m not a huge black midi fan but I’m very excited for Geordie greeps next venture as a solo artist

I wish I liked the vocals more because the instrumentals are super hard hitting and very cool especially for modern metal
Normally I can score an album after 1 or 2 listens but I had to give this like 6 listens because of how blown away I was from every aspect of this project
I knew I loved her singing but she peaked here and the instrumentals are the most fun and technical stuff they have done yet and I’m excited to see what they release in the future

Feels more grand then their other work and I like that but not as much as the previous project
Instrumentals much better than on Mini mix 1 the singing is as great as normal and I’m very excited to get keep listening to Magdalena bays projects

Definitely lones project that has to grow on you the most I remember hearing this in 2021 good times
75->84 after relistening a couple times I’ve grown to really like this album I just think it could’ve been cleaned up slightly

The extra 10 songs aren’t anything special besides a couple here and there I much prefer the base album
Honestly for someone who was so unique and good early in his career idk how he manages to release music that sounds just like his last 3 projects still good music tho

I like the vocals on here a lot more than on hellfire and while the instrumentals are less unique they are as fun
Also I accidentally deleted my original rating I listened to it for the first time a while ago

After holy holy being easily my favorite song this year I thought I should give black midi another chance but I don’t love this album I just think it’s good all around I do really like the last 4 songs tho
I think it could’ve been better but still pretty good this has made me realize that I should probably relisten to futures stuff and I’d probably rate most of them higher than this
Really cool album that falls off a little in the second half
I love the instrumentals and his singing fits very well
75->80 relistened for the first time in a while and it’s better than I remember

The other songs could fit on his last 2 projects easily and I already feel those albums were a move in the wrong direction being pretty generic compared to what he’s capable of which he starts to show on here again for the first time since euro glime (not a huge fan of euro glime anyways but that project was unique)"

"@recordmusic18 the soundtrack perfectly fits the movie and I wouldn’t want a different soundtrack for such a perfect movie but on its own when treated like a normal album of music it’s not great
Like the ost for the video game like a dragon kenzan it’s a bad album on its own but the feudal Japan setting fits perfect for the style of music"
